France has allocated 952.8 MW of capacity to 42 onshore wind projects in its latest tender round (Government’s statement). The tenth round of the PPE2 auction received 90 bids totalling 1,635.7 MW, exceeding the 925 MW target.
Among the selected developments are Boralex’s 101.4 MW Mercoeur-Ally-Chazottes-Rageade repowering project in Haute-Loire and the 85 MW Hauts de l’Armançon project in Yonne.
- The awarded projects range in size from 2 MW to 101 MW
- The auction resulted in a weighted average price of €86.6/MWh.
Projects are distributed across several regions throughout France.
