India’s InSolare Energy Limited has been awarded a 600 MW/1,200 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) contract by the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) (InSolare Energy press release, 30/10/2025).
- The project is located in Kolimigundla, Nandiyal District, Andhra Pradesh, and will be connected to the Kurnool‑3 substation under the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS).
- The tender for the project was issued in August 2025.
The scope of the project covers design, engineering, civil works, installation, testing, commissioning, and five years of comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M).
